Dreweatts and Bloomsbury’s upcoming Fine Watches, Pens and Luxury Accessories sale will include a number of vintage wristwatches in sleek, modern styles that are today back in vogue. Some of these classic Art Deco designs come from top French ateliers and include a woman’s retro sapphire and ruby wristwatch from the 1940s and a synthetic ruby bangle watch. Cartier, Chopard, Hermes, and other major brands will have representative work. Collectors of 20^th century men’s wristwatches will also find an exclusive selection from Bretling, Patek Philippe, and others. The sale will be held July 9 at Donnington Priory Oxford Road in Berkshire.
