A fruitful partnership continues for Van Cleef & Arpels. Seven years after the jeweler paired with perfumer Antoine Maisondieu on Féerie, the duo presents Féérie Rubis. Like its predecessor, which tantalizes with black currant, violet, jasmine, iris, and rose notes, the new fragrance features a beguiling mix of berries and flowers. Red currants and raspberries mingle with magnolia, freesia, iris, and peonies in the scent. Lychees, cedar, and sandalwood — used in India to induce a meditative state — add further intrigue. Féérie Rubis marks at least the fifth collaboration for Van Cleef & Arpels and Maisondieu, who previously worked on three perfumes for the label’s Collection Extraordinaire line.
