Essex watch service center Swisstec, one of the world’s most prestigious watch repair services, has added Cartier to its list of Swiss watch brands it will handle after nearly two years of inspections and negotiations. As well as inspections, the lengthy process also included exams for the watch making and polishing staff and extended training for three Swiss employees at Cartier’s manufacturing factory in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The accreditation allows Swisstec to work on repairs for the entire line of Cartier watches. As well as Cartier, Swisstec and Swiss Time Services hold Approved Service Center status with Omega, Girard Perregaux, Ball and Breitling and several Swatch Group brands.
