Millennium & Copthorne Hotels (M&C), in partnership with Mitsui Fudosan, has entered the Japan luxury market with its first flagship hotel in Tokyo: the Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel. The new luxury hotel features two special concept rooms designed by Japanese brands Mikimoto Cosmetics Ginza and Hakuza Nihonbashi, which specializes in gold foil production. The Pearl Room by Mikimoto Cosmetics offers products made with the pearl protein conchiolin, an essence good for the skin. Hakuza Nihonbashi presents the Hakuza Gold Leaf Room, where guests can receive a gold leaf mask and luxury bath salts with gold leaf. Hakuza is the name of the traditional method used to produce gold leaves. The new hotel is located in the heart of Tokyo’s Ginza 4-chome district.
