Brief: New Bulgari scent has notes of red ginger, bergamot
BY LESLIE JORDAN CLARY
With a bottle inspired by Botticelli’s painting The Birth of Venus, Bulgari has just released its first feminine fragrance for the Bulgari Agua collection, which up to this point has been solely for men. The composition for Bulgari Agua Divina, signed by renowned perfumer Alberto Morillas, contains hints of bergamot, salt crystals, and red ginger, with a central scent of magnolia and quince. The base is beeswax, precious woods, and amber. Both Agua Divina and the masculine counterpoint of the fragrance are said to evoke the aroma of the fresh salt air of a Mediterranean beach.
