Brief: Liens High Jewellery collection is a nod to Chaumet’s artful past
BY LESLIE JORDAN CLARY
First created in the 1970s, the Liens de Chaumet ring has become the brand’s trademark symbol of commitment. Each recreation of the theme is a reflection of the times as well as an enduring example of the Maison’s craftsmanship. The newest evolution of the Liens High Jewellery creations contains lavender sapphires from Ceylon intertwined with delicate ties glittering with baguette and round cut diamonds. The ties, which come in white, yellow, or rose gold, lend themselves to multiple interpretations. According to Chaumet, the Liens motif appeared for the first time on a necklace created by the Maison in 1907.
