Fabergé’s Emotion rings are at a high. The collection known for intense color and mesmerizing, random pavé work has expanded to include the luxurious Emotion Charmeuse. Resplendent in either sapphires or rubies, the new piece boasts a center stone suspended between twin gem-encrusted hoops. The band design (which borrows from previous Fabergé styles) recalls ballet’s classic first and fifth positions, where the arms are held in a gentle circle with fingers almost touching. In further homage to the art of dance — as well as to Fabergé’s Russian heritage — the Emotion Charmeuse’s name is a nod to Sergei Diaghilev, the self-professed charmer and founder of the Ballets Russes.
