Each tourbillon of the Harry Winston Histoire de Tourbillon No.1 wristwatch was crafted with 88 components and weighs only 0.46 grams.

Two watches currently causing a stir for the upcoming Christie’s Important Watches auction in Dubai on Oct. 22 are a couple of rare Harry Winston Double Tourbillons. The Histoire de Tourbillon No. 1 model was launched in 2009 and included only 20 pieces. This 18k white gold wristwatch, which is numbered 2 of the limited edition set, is expected to sell for between $200,000 and 300,000. A signed Histoire de Tourbillon No. 2 wristwatch listed at $130,000 to $230,000 will also be up for bid. The intricate structure of Histoire de Tourbillon No. 2 consists of 95 individual parts and is powered by a mechanical hand-wound component.
