Boucheron’s revamped and modernized bestseller is set for an early 2014 release in the U.S. market, anticipating another year of thoughtful, if infrequent, new designs. Internally referred to as the “Rock Star” Quatre because of its oversized studs, which differentiate it from the angelic pink, chocolate, and white ceramic layers of its classic sister, the Quatre Radiance will be available in white or yellow gold and diamonds. Similarities are obvious between the ring’s grunge-cool element, and the art-deco shine of 2013’s Soleil Radiant. The two pieces may stylistically run on parallel tracks, but they live on the same light-filled plane.
