Brief: Bulgari opens performance and exhibition space in Rome
BY LESLIE JORDAN CLARY
Bulgari recently opened the Domus, a two-room performance and exhibition space on the second floor of their boutique on Via Condottie in Rome. The first room will be home to displays of Bulgari photographs and original sketches of Bulgari’s classic jewelry. The second room plans to use the Bulgari Heritage Collection as the focus of changing thematic exhibitions. The opening featured a number of classic pieces from the Heritage Collection such as a necklace composed of gold, silver and bronze Roman coins and a Nineties necklace of glittering gems that recreates the outline of the Castel Sant’Angelo. Proceeds from the opening will support the restoration of Rome’s Spanish Steps.
