The Avenue des Champs-Elysées speaks everything Paris. Sidewalk cafes. Colorful gardens. The fragrance of rich coffee. Cheering crowds at the finish line of the Tour de France. And it especially speaks luxury. The latest luxury shop to open on the iconic avenue is Tiffany & Co. Although there are three smaller stores in Paris, the new 10,000 square foot flagship firmly solidifies the brand in the European marketplace. The elegant shop includes a winding staircase and centerpiece chandelier made of 1,837 glass rods to symbolize the company’s founding date in New York City. To celebrate its opening, beginning June 10, the famous yellow Tiffany diamond will be on display for a limited time. The 128.54-carat stone was cut by Parisian master craftsmen in 1878.
