For the first time, the entirety of the Cheapside Hoard – a trove of Elizabeth and Stuart Era treasures – will go on display at the Museum of London. Discovered in 1912 in a London cellar, the 500-piece collection will include lapis lazuli from Afghanistan, two-meter chains of fine gold, and Indian rubies. The history of English trade never looked so good. To complement the show, co-sponsor Faberge will launch a worldwide ad campaign, while Master Perfumer Roja Dove will debut a Rose-Lavender-Tonka Bean perfume inspired by a gold, enamel, diamond, and opal-set scent bottle featured in the exhibition.
